NOV 30 - Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM)’s three-day KUSOM Annual Festival(KAF), concluded on Sunday with prize distributions and performances by Nepali bands at a function held in Megha Malhar of Soaltee Crowne Plaza. Aptly titled KUSOM Collaborates, the event brought together KUSOM students, alumni, and representatives from corporate organisations with the aim of future collaborations.
The event began at three in the afternoon with an advertisement design competition, where the participants were asked to design ads for the Springwood brand of clothing. The ad designed by the students from Kathmandu College of Management won the first prize in the competition.
The ad designing competition was followed by a group dance competition. The first prize in the dance competition was won by the team representing the Kathmandu University College of Arts.
Following a short break, the programme continued to prize distributions, felicitations, and performances by various bands. The best students from different management colleges affiliated to Kathmandu University were awarded at a ceremony. Prof. Subhas K.C, the Dean of KUSOM, and Prof. Suresh Raj Sharma, the Vice-Chancellor, were also felicitated by the sponsors of the festival. The day ended with well-received performances by Nepali bands Mukti & Revival and Kutumba.
